This work is one of the most expressive pieces by Ryszard Winiarski from the early 1970s. It is a multilayered relief with a depth of 10 cm, made from board and covered with acrylic. On the back, the work is described as a penetration of real space with varying probabilities of the occurrence of black color, depending on a random variable - a table of random numbers and the roll of a die. The object constitutes a kind of dialogue between a flat painting and a sculptural relief, creating an illusory space and a dynamic play of light and shadow.
