oil on canvas
Currently, the painting is in a private collection. It has been exhibited at numerous exhibitions, including the Lubusz Land Museum in Zielona Góra and the Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions in Zamość. The work was also used as the cover of an album released on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the artist's work by the National Museum in Gdańsk.
The theme of the painting is suffering and compassion, shown through the classic motif of the Pieta, enriched by the presence of the boy – a symbol of innocence and an observer of human pain. The work touches on issues of passing, death, and interpersonal relationships.
