The largest sculptural group by Magdalena Abakanowicz to date – a group of 83 child figures conceived as an installation for Les Jardins du Palais Royal in Paris. One of the most numerous and recognizable sculptural groups of the artist, reflecting on existence and the condition of contemporary man. The child figures symbolize individualization and simultaneous belonging to a group, showing the strength of society and individuality in a globalized world. The sculptures engage in a dialogue with nature and create a 'space for contemplation'.
